Workshops

Ever want to start a vegetable or flower garden, make a decorative floral centerpiece, or make a soothing salve but was not sure how to do it?

We offer multiple workshops throughout the year to teach you how to start seeds, make arrangements, preserve your harvests, and more. Check out all the details on the workshops we have to offer below.

Creating a Vegetable Garden

This workshop is like a Gardening 101 class.  We will go over basic information for starting a small garden which will correlate with several more in-depth workshops we offer. Our farm is built around the principles of regeneration of the soil using organic methods and being sustainable in the process. In addition to growing food in this way, we also want to educate individuals the importance of growing food in an organic manner. Growing food organically isn’t just growing food without synthetic pesticides and herbicides. It is a lifestyle that allows you and the earth and animals on it to live in harmony.

Whether you are new to gardening or are wanting to learn some new techniques for growing food organically, this workshop is for you.

During this workshop we will go over:

  • how to plan your garden

  • different gardening methods used for different spaces

  • preparing your area and soil for seedling

  • starting seeds

  • transplanting seedlings

  • caring for your garden

  • tools to use and more!

This 4-hour workshop will consist of about several hours of structured content with the remaining time dedicated to a Q&A session.
